My Project

My students love to build and create, especially with magnets, snaps, and changing parts. These students are from low income areas and do not get many opportunities to create and build with different toys. Watching the students interchange parts to make unusual objects and to interact and participate so well together in areas encourages me to keep changing and searching for things to make them continue exploring.

New shelving units will help me organize our classroom giving our students the ability to help keep the room free of clutter.

The students will have easy access and pictures showing them where to put things. The children can put things away in the right spot and in a timely fashion, making clean up time an easy transition.
