This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are a mix of beginning dance students who are enthusiastic and nervous about their new endeavor and freshmen fitness ed. Students. I love watching my students learn about themselves, their classmates and their hidden talents. They learn that they are artists and that their personal stories are worthy and important to tell. They learn that hard work and sweat is a source of pride, rather than something to shy away from. I love helping them to grow in courage, creativity, strength and joy!

My Project

As we learn virtually, it is very important for students to be able to see and hear me. The video recorder will help to record my entire body so that students can easily see what both halves should do.

My students need support and encouragement as they tackle difficult combinations and skills.

The microphone and speakers will help them to better hear the music and me, their teacher at the same time. Simple but, important, these supplies will ensure that I can deliver the best to them every single class.
