My Project
This training is 30 hours of a virtual, hands-on, interactive, and personalized class that provides a complete understanding of IMSE’s enhanced Orton-Gillingham method, the essential five components to literacy, and the tools necessary to apply it in the classroom. After participating in this accredited Structured Literacy course, I will have a basic knowledge of how to assess and teach students in all three tiers of RTI as well as students with dyslexia. Literacy is, and needs to be viewed as a social justice issue.
With over two-thirds of fourth graders not reading proficiently, it it imperative to have research and evidence-based instructional practices applied in early elementary years.
The science of reading, combined with, IMSE's multi-sensory approach will ensure that students of all levels learn how to read.
