Bringing the Outside Environment to the Science Classroom

My Project

My idea of a science room is that it should look the part. I teach Earth, Space, and Life sciences. Posters and Maps will support instruction by providing students with visual representation of the content covered throughout various units.

Living plants within the classroom bring the sciences to life, ecosystems, photosynthesis, plant cells, and characteristics of living things.

In Montana, when winter hits, it is nice to maintain a bit of green.

The Galileo Thermometer is a great way for student to visually understand how a barometer works. In an age where everything is digital and technology provides us with the answers, this will serve as a nice contrast that will support students in understanding the science behind measuring elements of the weather.
