Bringing Stories to Life!

Help me give my students Snowy Day, Corduroy, Elephant and Piggie, Pigeon, and Red Fox plush dolls, cat and bear costume, costume dress up, role play trunks for boys and girls, animal figures and a 3D story puzzle.

My Project

My students are four years old and attend full day Pre-K at a NYC public school. My class is full of bright and excitable students who love to learn. I am requesting materials to bring stories to life in the classroom.

Literacy is a vital part of early education.

To engage my students, I would like to have plush dolls to use during read alouds to make the story come to life. I would also love to give them the opportunity to dress up like the characters in the book to make self-to-text connections. By including these fun and engaging materials in our literacy center, classroom library, and story time routines, my hope is that my students will establish a love for reading.
