This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are bright, curious, and eager to learn. They come from diverse backgrounds and many face challenges outside the classroom, but they arrive every day ready to grow and explore. Our school is a Title I school, and access to technology at home is limited for many of my students.

In our classroom, I strive to provide hands-on, engaging experiences that prepare my students for the future.

We need access to reliable, high-performing technology to truly immerse them in STEM learning. That's why I'm requesting an iMac desktop computer.

An iMac will allow students to explore coding, robotics, video editing, digital design, simulations, and scientific research. With a powerful desktop like this, all of my students will have access to STEM tools that can help them build critical thinking, creativity, and real-world tech skills.

We are asking for one iMac desktop computer. This device will serve as a classroom hub where students can learn and practice coding with platforms like Scratch, Tinkercad and Swift Playgrounds. They will be able to edit videos, digital presentations, design 3D models and prototypes, access to simulations for math and science, and they will be able to collaborate on group projects using Google tools and software. With its reliability and versatility, the iMac will be long-term tool that enhances learning every single day.
