My Students
This is my 5th year teaching 6th grade. My students are eager to learn new concepts and to do projects. This is there last year in elementary school before they move on to middle school. They deserve the best that can be offered to them in their learning environment.
After 15 years of working with students in Salinas, CA, I want to be able to offer more hands-on and exploratory activities in my class.
We are a Title I, low income (classified 100% free lunch school) school in Salinas, CA. Each year I want to be able to offer more than the year before because our students deserve the best.
My Project
Scholastic News will engage my students on current world news topics. Students need to learn about current events and dive into what's going on in the world. Scholastic Science will help us delve into our current science standards and learn more about science topics. These magazines are engaging and spark learning in a different way.
Scholastic magazines align with our California state standards to engage our students in higher learning goals.
The magazines will help make learning fun and engaging to meet our state standards.
These magazines will make a difference in learning concepts and boarding the scope of our learning.
