Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The best way to improve reading fluency and comprehension is to read more, and these books will continue to help my students grow stronger in their reading. My students already have shown an astonishing interest in independent reading, and this project will only help enrich their experiences with the printed word.

My hope is to continue to build student engagement by starting hands-on STEAM projects with a titles that my students are requesting.

When students are done with their reading- these resources, modeling clay, shrinking plastic, and mod podge will allow students to create art relating to their book.

When a reader has the power to choose what they want to read the likelihood of that book being read is greatly heightened. Thank you for bringing meaningful books and art materials to my students.
