This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Students will have the opportunity to show their thinking, analysis, and ability to draw connections with literature using multiple intelligences. Students will explore themes and interpret literature through musical expression with the help of the visiting music teacher. Students will participate in English class in a traditional and nontraditional sense.

Students will produce vibrant multimedia projects that are more in line with showing and influencing thought in the 21st century.

Additionally, this work will benefit the school's growing music program that is looking to supply students with instruments to participate in the school's music program that has experienced budget cuts.
