Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students thrive when they can actively engage with new concepts.

This project will provide a thermal printer, thermal paper, and extra composition notebooks that will transform traditional note-taking into an exciting learning experience.

Students will use these materials to create personalized interactive notebooks that serve as both learning tools and study guides.

Using thermal printing, students will create vocabulary cards, grammar reference charts, text evidence labels, literary device examples, writing organizers, and graphic organizers.

They will also print and organize anchor charts, discussion prompts, and writing checklists that they can easily access whenever they need support.

Because the materials can be printed as we learn, students' notebooks will grow alongside their knowledge. Interactive notebooks encourage students to take ownership of their learning. Instead of passively receiving information, they organize ideas, make connections between concepts, and reflect on their learning.

This hands-on approach improves engagement, strengthens memory retention, and gives students a sense of responsibility for their own learning. These materials are especially beneficial for students who need visual supports, hands-on learning opportunities, or additional organization.

English language learners, struggling readers, and students with diverse learning needs will benefit from having clear, individualized resources they can reference independently throughout each unit.

The requested supplies will support instruction in reading comprehension, vocabulary acquisition, grammar, literary analysis, writing, speaking, and critical thinking. Students will have opportunities to collaborate, create, revise, all while building notebooks they will use throughout the year.

Your support will do more than purchase classroom supplies—it will help create a classroom where students are excited to learn and proud of the work they produce.
