My Project

At our school we have “buddies” that we pair up with. Each week when we come together with both Kindergarten and 2nd grade classes we talk about service learning projects. We work hard to create empathy and compassion for others during our time together.

We will be creating colorful decorative 12x18 murals to send to students currently in the children’s hospital, to bring them joy and a brief connection to kids their age.

We are striving to also connect with families to bring them a sense of community and love through our murals and letters to our kids currently at the children’s hospital.
