This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students will have the opportunity to express their creativity, ingenuity through their hands on STEM labs I would love to give them the ability to bring their designs to life! It is my goal to be able to create a 21st Century Education Environment where students can follow the Engineering Design Process to make their designs tangible.

Integrating 3D printing into 5th grade STEM projects offers numerous benefits.

It fosters creativity and innovation as students design and create tangible models from their ideas. This hands-on approach enhances understanding of complex concepts by bringing them to life, thereby improving engagement and retention.

Additionally, it cultivates critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as students iterate their designs to achieve the desired outcomes. Such experiences not only enrich the learning process but also prepare students for future technological advancements.
