Bringing Good Vibes to a New Room

Help me give my students a welcoming classroom for the 2023 - 2024 school year.

My Project

Last month, our school board voted on a district wide consolidation plan. In this plan, our entire current school will move to a different campus - and those students and teachers are being divided to two other campuses.

Although we will all be moving together, we will be on a campus that is not ours.

Help me to create a welcoming classroom on this new campus. It will be a transition for our students - and I am hoping to decorate in a style that is similar to what I have used in my classroom on our current campus. That way, although it is a new environment, they can feel comforted by some of the things they remember from our previous campus. For starters, I am requesting lighting to hang from the ceiling that can be used with my current floor lamps for a softer feel. (It is rumored that some of the classrooms on the new campus have no natural light.) I am also requesting paper, borders, and garlands for any bulletin boards. (One that I 100% will reinstall is the bulletin board with hand-written notes from former students and graduation photos.) Finally, I am asking for some inspirational quotes for my classroom and the hallway near my room.
