Bringing Biology to Life!

Help me give my students varied learning opportunities in our Biology class! I will use the microscope to show students what they should look for, clipboards for gallery walks and whiteboards/ post-its for check-ins!

My Project

I plan to use the microscope to model what students should be looking for when we do microscope studies. Our classroom microscopes are very old and students struggle to visualize what they should be looking for. If I could project an image of my scope on the board, it would help students immensely.

I would use dry erase boards for stations and quick check-ins during discussions.

Clipboards, sticky easel papers and post-its would be used for gallery walks. Markers, colored pencils, pencils and notecards are vital for many of our projects throughout the year. We use lots of doodle notes and having students color them as we are going through really helps their retention.

My students and I would really appreciate these tools to aid in our learning!
