My students need to read some new and well written novels in a fantasy/science-fiction genre. They need 34 copies of "The Hunger Games."

My Students

Hunger Games is a novel I believe all my students will not want to put down. Not being a fantasy/sci-Fi reader myself, I was amazed at how well written it was. I did not want to put it down. The main character is a strong female that even a boy would cheer for in her battle.

My students come to our middle school from many different areas of our our city.

They would benefit from getting to know one another by discussing a great novel. The sixth graders enter middle school ready to branch out to try new topics and interests. This novel will open up wonderful discussions for both boys and girls..

My Project

The novel Hunger Games is such a well written novel it will make the majority of students want to read the sequels by the author. It has a female lead character that shows family and friendship commitment as well as inner strength and physical ability. Students will not want to put this book down, and the discussions and questions will be enlightening and fun for all.

Kids need to read quality books, and this book is top notch.

The author does a wonderful job with content that is interesting and appropriate, but better yet the language used to write it is high quality. Help me get my kids reading a quality book.
