This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students live in the inner city and choose to go to our school for a better education. We offer top notch education to many students who could not otherwise afford it. We are classified a Title 1 school.

My students are a very intelligent group of children in the Los Angeles area.

They attend a Charter School that is free and rigorous. The program is very demanding and technology in my class is limited. This projector would save time and increase interest.

My Project

I am requesting this projector to provide access to the many visual aides that are built into our current programs and to extend those programs with resources online such as brain pop. It will make it possible for me to create and share multimedia PowerPoint's with my students and increase interest and knowledge in all subjects.

This project is so important to me because it will save precious time and maximize the time we have to learn.

It will make my students excited about learning and give them visual aids to remember concepts. It will also allow me to use a document camera to share books so everyone can see the pictures and text. It will also be great for editing and sharing students work as a class.
