Bring Math to Life with NumberBlocks

Help me give my students a wonderful and fun start to math this year. My class was obsessed with Numberblocks. Having these hands on items will help students grow and learn.

My Project

These items were chosen to help cultivate a hands on learning environment during math core and small groups. Students love the show NumberBlocks so giving them the opportunity to make math happen with these characters will get them invested in the learning.

By giving students hands on practice with NumberBlocks they can learn to count with 1:1 correspondence to 20 and beyond.

Students will use these materials to count, add, subtract, compare numbers, to learn number names, and to match numbers to their quantities.

My students are primarily from low income families that may not be able to afford NumberBlocks toys but having in the classroom would make my students feel special and rich beyond words. I also sever a very high multi-language learner population so having physical items from the shows they watch will help them to make connections in their home lives and in our classroom. My classroom also contains several exceptional children with learning and physical disabilities that are integrated into our everyday learning.
