This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

As I am beginning to wrap up my first year of teaching, I have grown and learned SO much. With that being said, I have been able to gain a better understanding of what materials/supplies are successful for my scholars in our classroom, and what items I am missing as a fresh out of college teacher who hasn't been able to fully create an adequate learning space for students yet due to cost.

As a new teacher, it can be very difficult to create an adequate learning environment for students with all the tools they need to succeed.

One area of our classroom that I would love to further create is our overall organization and set up. These materials would allow me to create a space that my scholars can continue to thrive and feel comfortable in.
