Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My first graders are growing and learning! They love to work hard and to explore, discover and learn. They began in-person school this year after learning online via Google Meet for over a year. Most of these students missed out on hands-on learning due to Covid-19 shutdowns. I want to provide a fun and safe learning environment for my students. Our Title I school is located in the heart of Las Vegas and my students need stability now more than ever.

All students deserve the best learning experience possible and I would like to support my students any way I can.

My Project

I am requesting basic materials and supplies such as glue sticks which are used on a daily basis in a firsts grade classroom. Students will complete daily writing in these composition books.

Your donation will provide materials that will ensure each student in my class has the necessary materials for school each day.

I am also requesting activity mats to use at math centers along with Play-Doh. The pocket charts will be used to display student learning goals and academic standards in our classroom. Every student deserves to learn! Thank you for your time and consideration.
