At our school, art is used to enhance learning across the curriculum. Students get excited about their art projects. They are free to create and express themselves. Paint and paper are essential to every project, then add wiggly eyes! They are so proud of their projects. I love watching this process. That is meaningful art experience.
Art enhances creativity, which in turn develops confidence in their abilities and learn new things.
The ability to think creatively and critically is valuable to life. They learn to think outside the box.
Every end of the year, students tye-dye a shirt to wear at the end of the year trip. We do this for a couple of reasons. One is the students enjoy and are always thrilled to see their shirt. And also safety, so when we are out and about our students are easily to spot.
