As we are coming into cold and flu season, being germ free is a priority in my classroom. We clean our tables, chairs, toys, mats and just about every surface. With the help of all of you, we can do that. The cute little roll cart keeps everything right within reach, and the students are learning a new routine. Plus our classroom always smells great! Our students overall have greatly received much use from the items. We have served breakfast for the entire school, prepared lunch on multiple occasions for students and staff. Our football team is currently in state playoffs (in which we haven't done) in 25 years, and we prepared dinner for them before their first round of playoffs. We also furnished a hospitality room for referees and visiting opponents. The materials received have been very beneficial for us to succeed in all we are doing. We are currently getting ready to prepare for our Christmas program where we will sit up a buffet lined with cookies, pastries, cupcakes, candies, and pulled pork sliders for our community. The students are looking forward to this. We are serving the students in the cafeteria the food we are making at this time. We will soon be making cookies and treats for our football team and cheerleaders when they travel They sometimes travel 3 to 4 hours for a ballgame. We are already getting ideas ready for our Halloween Carnival, Thanksgiving Dinner for the community, and will soon be prepping ideas for our Christmas Cookie Extravanga.\r\n We would like to Thank you tremendously for helping our students learn many life skills, people skills, and learning to cook in the process. Watching them succeed and enjoy learning is so tremendously gratifying. All you have given to us truly lets us see this impact that it has on them. \r\n The children have been learning a lot lately in the kitchen. We did a Valentines sales the students took control of. We made heart sugar cookies, heart chocolate chip cookies (all with decorations), decorated cupcakes, and a goodie box consisting of a chocolate covered strawberry, cake pop, and a small cookie in a decorated box. Some of our students were unable to purchase but we did not leave them out. All of our elementary, jr. high, and high school students received an item of their choice.
