Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students thrive when they have opportunities to collaborate, share ideas, and express their learning in creative ways. As a bilingual elementary classroom, we work hard to create meaningful learning experiences that honor student voice, encourage participation, and build confidence in both languages.

A classroom membership for Padlet would give my students access to an interactive digital space where they can respond to lessons, share projects, ask questions, and collaborate with classmates in engaging and creative ways.

Padlet allows students to upload writing, drawings, photos, videos, voice recordings, and links, making learning more accessible for all learners.

Many of my students benefit from visual and hands-on learning opportunities. Padlet would help us create digital anchor charts, collaborative discussions, bilingual vocabulary walls, reading responses, SEL check-ins, and culturally sustaining projects that allow every student to participate and feel seen. It also supports differentiated instruction by giving students multiple ways to demonstrate understanding and express their thinking.

This membership would not only increase student engagement, but also strengthen communication, creativity, collaboration, and confidence in the classroom. My students are eager to learn, create, and share their ideas with the world, and Padlet would help make that possible.
