Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach kind, eager to learn third graders and in the third grade they are expected to learn all about forces and interactions as part of our Science standards. Usually we read off our science curriculum's textbooks however, the material there can be challenging for my young students to understand, especially my English Learners and students with special needs. I would love to be able to provide all of my students with hands on, engaging lessons and activities related to motion and stability in order for them to fully understand our science standards. The STEM Explorers Bridge Builders sets will allow them to do just that. These sets will inspire my students with real engineering.

They will be able to solve various STEM challenges, problem solve and build critical thinking.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
