Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I need your help in giving my classroom a small refresh.

My incoming class of excited second graders deserves a classroom that feels warm and welcoming.

I am requesting an area rug to serve as our designated spot for morning meetings, cozy read-alouds, and independent reading time. The paper lanterns and backdrops will create a soft, calming atmosphere where we can all focus and enhance our well-being. The bulletin board materials will be utilized to proudly display the students' achievements. The neon sign message will be an affirmation to foster an optimistic, self-belief mindset. The vibrant, colorful clipboard will aid in keeping work organized.

These simple additions will help me provide a peaceful classroom where my students feel safe, celebrated, and ready to learn.
