This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our Title I public school, I am dedicated to providing the best possible learning experiences for my students, especially those receiving speech therapy. However, I face a challenge: limited access to resources, including colored ink for printing materials crucial to speech therapy sessions. This project aims to bridge that gap by securing a color printer with colorful ink cartridges.

Color plays a vital role in enhancing learning experiences, particularly for students with speech-related challenges.

Visual aids and materials printed in color capture attention, stimulate engagement, and facilitate comprehension. For students with speech disorders, colorful visuals can be instrumental in reinforcing speech sounds, language concepts and communication skills through visually stimulating materials. By incorporating color into our therapy materials, we can create a more dynamic and effective learning environment for our students.

My students are resilient, determined, and full of potential. Despite facing various challenges, they demonstrate remarkable dedication to their education and personal growth.
