My Project

My students are a vibrant, curious, and incredibly resilient group of seventh graders. Every day, they walk into our classroom bringing diverse backgrounds, unique perspectives, and a genuine eagerness to learn. What I love most about them is their enthusiasm to tackle challenges, their ability to support one another, and their constant curiosity to know the "why" behind how things work.

Seventh-grade math is a pivotal year where students transition from basic arithmetic to abstract concepts like algebraic equations, geometry, and integers.

To keep our daily momentum going, we are requesting a mix of essential writing tools and printing supplies that serve as the literal engine of our math classroom.

Having a steady supply of pencils, pens, and erasers means no student will ever feel stressed about coming to class unprepared. In math, mistakes are a mandatory part of the learning process. Having high-quality erasers gives my students the confidence to take risks, try tough problems, and rewrite their work without fear of a messy page.

Here is how the printing and paper supplies will directly impact our daily math lessons:

Printer Paper and Ink: Abstract math requires concrete visuals. This ink and paper will allow me to print custom coordinate planes, geometry nets, graph paper, and differentiated math mazes tailored exactly to my students' individual learning paces.

Bright Colored Paper: This is our secret weapon for conquering multi-step math problems! We will use vibrant paper to create color-coded interactive notebooks, formula foldables, and step-by-step equation guides. Visually breaking down a complex algebraic expression onto bright paper helps my visual learners track their steps and retain tough concepts much more effectively.
