Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have been teaching for over 20 years and I would like to take my students to a field trip offered by other districts, but not by ours. We are not allowed to fund raise, so my inner-city students are often left to walking field trips around areas they already know, rather than experience what other students regularly are accustomed to.

I want my bright students to achieve greatness, please help us realize this goal!

We would love for you to consider us as a choice for your donation, and look forward to your involvment.

My Project

My students do not get the funding necessary to go to events such as this. Please help them receive the gift of this experience! It's frustrating when, as a teacher, I am not allowed to raise funds on my own or with my students because of district policy, yet are never allocated funds for my projects or trips. My students deserve better, and I want to offer you the opportunity to help my students strive for greatness. I have looked at other districts and see they allocate funds for these trips, yet I have never been successful lobbying my own district for funds.
