My Project

The LEGO brick sets that I am requesting are for learners to use during our Makerspace time in the media center.

Building with LEGO bricks teaches various soft skills that shape the way that the learners work and interact with others including, creative thinking, teamwork, communication, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.

Learners will be able to come in and work on these sets during their class time and throughout the day. Using LEGO bricks is a great way to improve literacy as kids work with instructions and provide tools that develop lateral thinking in a fun environment all while improving creativity.

Creating with LEGO provide hands-on learning and gives learners a tangible way for students to explore and understand abstract concepts. They also promotes creativity, problem-solving, spatial reasoning, and teamwork.
