My Students

Students in my classroom love to build. We have a small set of Legos and students always want to be in the building center during choice time.

My students are 32 amazing first graders.

Many of my students are English Language Learners. In our busy classroom we encourage learning through hands on experiences. My students love to create and build and these materials will help foster that love.

My Project

The students in my class will use the Legos, K'Nex and Fiddlestix to create anything that they can imagine such as a castle far away or a bakery down the street. We study community in first grade and students can create a map of our local neighborhood or the amazing skyscrapers we are lucky to experience living in New York.
