Help me give my students an air purifier to help with the inversion in Utah and a bookcase to store all of our books and to section out an area for their emotional and mental well being.

My Students

My students are creative and have a passion for learning. They try to have hands-on learning as much as possible to get the best learning outcome. The students come to school every day and are ecstatic to learn.

Schools are the center and heart of towns/cities.

Our school is on the West Side and many of the students come from a low-income households where schools need more funding to give the best opportunities for students to reach their full potential with fewer barriers. With these donations, we will not need to ask for donations, nor ask families. Having a fully supplied classroom will create an environment where students will have more hands-on learning and creativity!

My Project

This project was created to buy a dyson fan to help with the inversion in Utah. The air pollution gets worse at Magna and this Dyson fan will also be able to help with the temperature control in my classroom. Our heater/cooler has NOT been working properly and they have been learning in an environment that was 56 degrees and as high as 78 degrees. I believe that this Dyson fan will help regulate the temperature in the room and will create a better learning environment that my students deserve. The bookshelf will help create a little wall for our classroom where students will be able to have a space to support their emotional and mental well being if it is too overwhelming in the classroom. With the coronavirus, I believe that the students deserve a classroom where they should feel comfortable learning in and the air purifier will help filter out bacteria and dust so students do not get as sick. Coronavirus has impacted the students in a great toll of their emotional and mental well-being where I believe an enclosed area will help give them privacy to understand how to cope with challenges that they might be going through. I teach at a low-income school and I would like for my students to have an enclosed space for them to cope and learn how to regulate their emotion.
