Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our beautiful school is over 100 years old. It is currently in need of repairs, while some repairs are ongoing.

Our students need air purifiers and a fan to clear the air of dust, other allergens, and germs, and mitigate the effects of an old heating system.

The air purifiers will be used to keep different classrooms clean and fragrance-free to help not only our students with asthma, but all our students. Our students deserve the very best, and that includes all the basics, including clean air. We work with many students with disabilities. Studies show that polluted air can negatively impact learning and test scores. Our students will benefit so much from these purifiers in not only their ability to breathe and focus in class, but also in maintaining long-term health. The speakers will be used for our lunch club activities. Thank you for helping us maintain a healthy learning environment!
