Everyday is a new adventure in our class. My kids are so excited to be in school this year. They are so happy and smiles are everywhere. You can see the excitement on their faces as they try new and fun things. Their eyes light up as we discuss new topics.
My kids enjoy learning!
Reading is one of our favorite activities in our class. They just giggle at the silly parts of stories. We have a listening center in our class. The best part of the day is when they are listening to stories and all the sudden they break into song as they read with the story.
Our brains grow each day. My kids love to try new things. Even when the task seems hard, they jump right in and give it a try. I am so proud of each and everyone of them. I love to come in each day knowing I will see them. I wish you could be there with us and see all amazing things my kids do each day!
My Project
We are so close to having a Chromebook for each student in our class. We just need one more! We use our Chromebooks every day to study spelling patterns, read books and research interesting things. Having one more Chromebook will allow all students to contribute to the learning in our class instead of someone sitting on the sidelines watching a friend learn.
Problem-solving is the key to learning.
With Breakout EDU type games, we put our problem-solving skills to work as we solve puzzles that allow us to open the locks on our boxes and our learning. The only problem is we need locks to put on the boxes so we can solve problems to open them. Having these few locks will let us practice communication skills, refine our problem-solving skills, and help us stretch our creative thinking.
These locks and the Chromebook​ will make a big difference in our class as they give us access to learning that is beyond the classroom and outside of the box.
