My Students

My fourth-grade students have a thirst for knowledge. They use their critical thinking skills in my science class to solve a variety of problems and complete experiments with a small group. My students are very creative and enjoy a challenge.

They are motivated learners and try to solve problems in a variety of ways.

My students are positive, kind, quirky students who like trying new things. They enjoy working with their hands and use the trial and error method to figure concepts out. Their hard work does not go unnoticed!

My Project

Research shows that students learn best and retain information when it is taught in an authentic, meaningful way. The Breakout Edu kit is similar to the very popular escape rooms. Students will use their critical thinking skills, as well as working as a team, to solve a puzzle in order to open the box. Students need this opportunity to practice communication, team work, and problem solving skills. Teachers have access to a variety of lessons for all grade levels with the purchase of a kit. The kit would allow me to give a meaningful experience to my fourth grade science students.
