Help me give my students hands-on activities to engage them in learning. Breakout EDU brings the fun of an escape room into the classroom with engaging formative assessments disguised as games that develop critical thinking and team work.
My students live in a small, supportive, friendly community. Their families are far from affluent with over 50% qualifying for free and reduced-price lunch. Some come to school ready to fully engage while others have many overwhelming real-life obstacles to overcome before they can begin to focus on learning. Several do not have access to the internet at home.
My students come to my class eager to mix creativity and innovation to walk down their educational path!
My mission is to gamify portions of my tech Integration curriculum to make certain that my students have a solid understanding of key concepts.
My Project
Meeting real world ISTE standards, that's our goal. Now, more than ever, students need critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creative skills to be competitive to enter the workforce in jobs that do not yet exist. The BREAKOUT EDU locks, boxes, UV pens, invisible ink, and decoder glasses will all be used to create clues from cross curricular tasks for teams to decipher and break the code!
