My Students

I teach excited 6th graders math in an economically disadvantaged middle school. Over 60% of students come from low-income families. Like most 6th graders, my students enjoy being active and engaging in hands-on learning!

I am dedicated to providing a student-centered environment for success for my students!

Having your support in creating our learning environment means I am able to do even more for my students! Thanks to my generous donors, I've been able to make some amazing changes that have allowed my students to enjoy learning! We are helping my students develop a love of learning which will allow them to become lifelong learners!

My Project

Breakout Edu kits are great for engaging students! Each kit comes with eleven different types of locks, hint cards, reflection cards, an invisible ink pen, a uv flashlight, a red lens viewer, and a usb drive. These items are used to set up a Breakout Room type project! Students work together to solve problems and use critical thinking skills to "break out" of the game!

All Breakout Edu games require critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and communication.

There are tons of math games to choose from to use as review or reward activities! They also have an option to create your own games! The games are based on specific math concepts we have learned, making it perfect for the classroom. This resource was designed with classrooms in mind!
