My students were so excited to be able to choose from a variety of books by Alan Gratz because of your help with funding my project. They had a great time collaborating with each other while discussing their novels with their classmates and then creating various projects to demonstrate their knowledge of their book. \r\nIf this group of kiddos was any indication, my future classes are going to LOVE reading their chosen novels. The light boxes have completely changed the way students approach their work. They are able to transfer drawings more accurately, refine compositions, layer ideas, and correct mistakes without starting over. This has built confidence, especially for students who get discouraged when something doesn't look \"right\" the first time.\r\n\r\nWhen the light boxes arrived, students were immediately excited. They couldn't wait to try them. I heard so many \"This makes it so much easier!\" comments as they realized they could focus more on creativity and less on frustration. Even students who usually hesitate to take risks were more willing to experiment because they had a safety net.\r\n\r\nThe micron pens have also made a huge difference. Students love using them for outlining and final details. Their line work looks more professional, and they take real pride in their finished pieces. It's been incredible to watch their craftsmanship improve and to see them slow down and care about the quality of their work.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, we will continue using the light boxes for daily transfers, layering techniques, mixed media projects, and developing more complex compositions. These tools are not just a one-time addition — they are now part of our regular creative process.
