My students need locks and boxes to participate in Breakout Education.

My Students
My students are 6th-8th graders and they are changing fast! Each day is a new adventure at this age.
This is a time to explore their leadership skills and grow their confidence through nontraditional learning.
I hope to challenge the everyday learning styles by engaging these students in interactive activities in which they must apply their classroom learning. I believe this is the best way for students this age to grow their character.
Currently, my students live in a small but rapidly growing town. I hope that the skills they learn through these activities helps to take them into the 21st Century world beyond their middle school.
My Project
Breakout Education is a fun and exciting way to put knowledge to the test by playing a game that also forces students to cooperate with each other.
Students will use what they have learned in class to solve riddles and mysteries in order to unlock many locks on the box.
When students have successfully answered all clues, the box will open and reveal the "prize" inside.
This type of game forces students to use their content knowledge, critical thinking skills and to work cooperatively with peers. This type of activity is also a stress reliever and boredom breaker as it turns a normal activity that would have been a worksheet into an interactive game.
