Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students are curious, energetic, and talkative first, second, and third graders in a Montessori classroom. I am asking for donations so we can have a language translator so everyone can communicate with each other in their native language. Our classroom is diverse and we have students in our room that don't always understand or speak English. The Hispanic population continues to grow in our neighborhood and we love it!

Using a translator would be a way for students to communicate with others and make our classroom an inclusive and equitable learning community.
