Break Time Activity for Our JJ

Help me give my students new equipment for use during lunch and break time.

My Project

Being a middle school on a high school campus has its challenges, one of which is that the lunch and break time needs of our JJ differ from those of our older students. While our high school students are leaving campus at lunch and chilling in the front quad, our middle school students are looking for activities to do on the yard and in the JJ quad.

Lately, kids have been playing frisbee during break and lunch; I'd like to help them take it up a notch.

This projects would provide us with a set of discs to check out, and a pair of disc golf targets that can be set up in the quad. If this proves popular, we may look to expand it by creating a short course on our field, which is being renovated this summer.

While our school and district do a good job of providing the funding needed for books and technology, it's always a struggle to fund the things that bring our students some joy - field trips, sports equipment, etc. Thank you for supporting the health and fitness of our middle school students, and giving our kids one more option for lunch and break time.
