Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With these items, my students will be able to learn fine motor skills in a fun way.

My goals for this project will be to help my students learn all the different ways fun items can be used in a classroom, for example, my students will be able to use the Play Doh to make letters of the alphabet or numbers.

My students will be able to use the kinetic sand for sensory play, and they can use the other items for learning and sensory needs as well.

The bins will help teach my students responsibility by allowing them to have a place to store the items and clean up (with help from the adults).

My student's are special because they are all diagnosed with Autism. Autism is not a disability, it's a different ability. Although most of my students are non-verbal, we find a way to communicate and my kiddos are bright children who enjoy learning.
