This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We now have a new music class! We are a public charter school system that promotes science, mathematics, and educational technology in school environments.

I need your help to build the music classroom.

I teach music to students K-8, with up to 30 students per class period. There are over 450 students, with a handful of 504/IEP accommodations. As the students are playing instruments and interacting, they need to be able to hear my instructions and the metronome so the headset mic would be amazing.

Students in grades K-2 will benefit from the smaller, less intimidating instruments. The handheld percussion instruments and the small xylophones/glockenspiels will make things fun and exciting for them as they learn the basics.
