Brainpop Classroom Project

Help me give my students a BrainPOP subscription for a better understanding of our science and social study core and give them a choice for self paced online learning at home during Covid-19.

My Students

Engagement, focus, relevance and a desire to learn—these are things that my students have. My immersion students are aware of and generally show positive attitudes towards, other cultures and an appreciation of other people. They have been learned Mandarin for 6 years in elementary school. They are prepared for the global community and job markets where 21st century skills are an asset.

My Project

It's obvious how Covid-19 has influence our daily learning experience at school this past year. My request will help the students to access a more flexible and good resource for online learning.

With the Brainpop online learning, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that related to our Science and Social study core and will allow them to read independently at their own interest and pace at home.

My students already have shown an increasing interest in solar system, ecosystem, matter and energy, ancient civilization related reading and this project will not only help enrich their experiences with the textbook, but also provide a good resource for self paced learning. I have seen how this online program can positively affect my students learning from last year and hope that the Brainpop program options will continue help this year's group grow even more!
