Our 5th grade classes were able to go from one classroom to another to experience our Science Extravaganza. We learned about weathering, erosion, volcanoes, how to prevent landslides, and of course, Tectonic Plates! \r\n\r\nAll the 5th grade students, 107 of them, were able to see the effect of moving plates with the new tectonic plate simulators we received. Next, they were able to use the frosting and graham crackers to imitate the movement of converging tectonic plates.\r\n\r\nIt was a great day for learning.
