5th graders are the best! Each year I get a group of students that have the potential to become anything they want.
Helping my students understand that the education they are getting now is preparation for ongoing learning and a prosperous life is my long term goal.
Two thirds or more of our students in our school come from low income homes. This means that some of them have single parents, parents with two or more jobs, or other factors that make it hard for my students to focus on the importance of learning. They sometimes have to step in at home and take on other responsibilities.
When you donate to my classroom, you will be helping me make a welcoming, warm classroom where learning is a priority. While also, giving students some choice and control in a world where they feel they do not have any. Your support is extremely important and appreciated.
