This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
BrainPop and BrainPop Espanol are great platforms that provide invaluable resources for my older students and bilingual students. The students will be eager and excited to use this platform with informative, entertaining, and engaging content in areas such as financial literacy.
BrainPop and BrainPop Espanol will provide engaging videos and topics for my students to help support their learning about Financial Literacy.
Students can watch the engaging videos from the topics geared towards the lessons on financial literacy. My classes will also have the opportunity to experience other visual displays to help in their learning such as interactive quizzes, concept maps, edited movies, graphic organizers, worksheets, etc.
I teach in a school with students who have different learning abilities, and language acquisition levels, and many students are new to the country, I teach several bilingual classes. This resource helps the various learners in my classrooms because it is a visual aide that provides clear and entertaining videos for students to learn about challenging concepts. The students love the use of technology and engaging with a resource like BrainPop will facilitate learning about a new topic that is such a vital life skill.
