My Students

I currently have 20 four-year-old students who are all on target developmentally and are very excited to learn and progress in school.

Each of the students is developmentally on-target for their age.

The community we live in is supportive and will try to support the students in many ways; however, funding can be a roadblock at times. Each of the students in my classroom is eager to learn new skills and being able to get up and move is always very motivating for them.

My Project

These snack items will be will be used to help students that come to school hungry or go home to where there's limited food. These easy to grab snacks provide not only brain fuel, but also supplement the limited food budget for their families. Food insecurity should not limit students potential. Although school lunches are provided for families every week, many families still lack the money to provide adequate food for their families. This project will supplement families food budget for the remainder of the school year and help our students to be successful.
