Brain Fuel

My Students

I teach fourth grade at a Title I school in Michigan. My students are always so excited to learn new things. My goal is to provide them with multiple ways to learn and show their learning. This year, my students have a wide range of abilities and instructional needs. I need ways to help best reach them as learners.

My students are a fantastic group of kids who enjoy learning.

I am on a mission to pass on my love of learning to my students. My classroom is a safe haven for them. I want to provide many fun and engaging learning opportunities for them along with a comforting environment.

My Project

This project is dedicated to bringing snacks into my classroom. Nearly all of my students receive free breakfast and lunch. I allow snacks in the middle of our day because they need to keep their brain fueled.

My students are unable to bring their own snacks.

It is so hard when about half of your class doesn't have a snack. I had provided extra snacks but we have went through it all along with what a parent donated. I never want my students to be hungry. This snacks should last us a long time.
