This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students need some extra food in their bellies to finish the day strong. This project is meant to keep my students focused and on task. They need an afternoon snack to get through the day. Their lunch is at ten and they have academic learning most of the afternoon.

I would appreciate this project getting funded because it would help take the load off my parents.

I work at a Title I school, and my parents already have a lot on their plate without me asking if they can bring in snacks for the class.

Allowing my students to consistently have snacks in the afternoon allows them not to worry about when they get to eat next. They will know that every afternoon they will get snack time.
