Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a first year teacher I have been amazed at how much I love my students. Coaching debate has given me a new outlook on how many of these kids live with hardly nothing. Giving them snacks and candy to have at long debate tournaments will help them be successful. I have done a previous project for granola bars, and my students loved them. I give my students the granola bars so they can focus on language arts instead of their hungry stomachs. Little things like snacks have a bigger impact on a student than most people will ever know.
