My Students
I teach in a co-teach setting for PreK students. We have the great opportunity to teach students from many diverse backgrounds such as English Language Learners (ELLs), Special Education Students (SPED), and first-time learners.
My students all have different needs and different ways that they learn to accomplish their social, emotional, and academic goals. My students are very amazing Pre-k students who are experiencing school through new eyes. They're inquisitive, not afraid to make mistakes, and make everything an adventure.
My Project
“There is more treasure in books than in all the pirate's loot on Treasure Island.” – Walt Disney. Help us grow our classroom library that is in the hands of four-year-olds. Board Books make it easier for our little learners' hands making the pages easier to turn and manipulate. Not to mention that pages and books made from sturdy cardboard can withstand many years of page-turning. We have found a treasure trove of titles and topics that features multiples ethnic groups as well as traditions. There are even a few new favorites and of course some rhyming fun with Dr. Seuss.
